中盤の「Greed from my arm」の部分は「(I bled the) greed from my arm」って書いてるサイトもあって、そっちを元に「流れる」っていう言葉を付け加えときました。その方がわかりやすいかなって。 全体的に詩的な感じの歌詞だな。韻や響きを大事にしながらも、ちょっと風刺的な雰囲気で、いい歌詞やなって思います。

この日はDJ3人のうち2人が知り合いってことで、転換中も楽しめました。 HARVESTシゲさん☆シゲさんは転換後のバンドに合わせて選曲してるらしい。ただ自分の好きな曲流してるわけじゃないんやなー。さすが。 「Rise Against好きやんな?今日流すでー」って『Prayer Of The Refugee』流してくれた!テンション上がった。
revenge my LOST: このバンドもこの頃やたら遭遇率高い。(笑)楽しかった。この日は3拍子の曲やらなくて残念。 revengeは音源よりライブの方が断然カッコいい。前にも書いたけど、ほんまにMCからSEから、全てにおいてエンターテインメントやから。個人的に歌かなり上手いと思ってるんやけど、音源やMVやとそれが半減して聴こえるんだよなあ……なんでやろ。
最初BVBの曲を聴いた時、Andyの声がこのルックスからは想像できない感じの声だったから驚いた。高くて細そうだなあって勝手に思ってたんやけど、わりと低くて響くような声。かなりツボです。 今回『Rebel Love Song』を選んだのは、BVBの曲の中で個人的に好きだからっていうのもあるけど、この曲の名前で検索してたどり着いてくる人が結構多かったから。

ということで、「old man」はあえて父親とかおじさんとか限定せずに、ただ「年老いた男」としておきました。聴く側が自分にとってしっくりくる人物を当てはめられる方がいいかなーと思ったので。 歌詞中の「think of two」っていうのは、自分と恋人(もしくは好きな人)のことを指してるのかなって思ったけど、このエピソードを聞くと「two」はAvila夫妻なのかな? 「life」も、「生活」にすると味気ない気がしたので「人生」にしてます。
